Volcano National Park is a World Heritage Site and it's no wonder since it is located on Kilauea Volcano the most active volcano in the world and Mauna Loa Volcano the largest volcanic mass on earth. This park is one of the most visited National parks in the country since its opening in 1916. Enjoy the informative exhibits at the Kilauea Visitor Center. Halema'uma'u crater has been active and sending its steam skyward for many years along with the sulphur banks and steam vents throughout the park. Be amazed at the moon like landscape of the Kilauea Iki trail and see the diverse landscape all over the park with its huge hapu'u ferns and Ohia lehua trees. Also see ancient lava fields and walk through Thurston lava tube. The other fun stops will be Big Island Candies, Rainbow Falls, a scenic drive through Liliuokalani Gardens and Banyan tree drive and a stop at Richardson black sand beach if time permits. This is a small group, comprehensive tour with experienced guides. Our vehicles hold 12 - 14 passengers.
